ABOUT THE CANADIAN ISP SUMMIT

2021 Canadian ISP Summit slated to be the
biggest event of its kind in Canada

Event to be presented jointly by the Competitive Network Operators of Canada and the Canadian Communication Systems Alliance

TORONTO, April 26, 2021 – – Today the Competitive Network Operators of Canada (CNOC) announced that for the first time ever, this year’s Canadian ISP Summit will be presented jointly by CNOC and the Canadian Communication Systems Alliance (CCSA), more than doubling its size therefore making this the biggest event of its kind in Canada.

Scheduled for September 28 and 29, 2021, the 11th annual Canadian ISP Summit is a multi-day conference for Canada’s leading telecom independents allowing attendees to share, learn and grow as the industry’s key players discuss both the challenges and opportunities of the current business environment.

The joint partnership between CNOC and the CCSA, whose members also provide cable and IPTV services, will make this virtual event bigger than ever before, more than doubling in size from previous years in registered attendees and available sponsorship opportunities to bring even more value to the event.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with CNOC on the 2021 Canadian ISP Summit,” says Jay Thomson, CCSA CEO. “We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with them and provide insights that will allow the independent communications provider sector to grow. By way of a virtually hosted event, it makes more sense than ever to expand the event’s scale thereby adding more value for all who will be a part of it.”

With a state-of-the-art virtual conferencing platform that will feature product showcases, breakout rooms, compelling content and keynote speakers, together with a new dual content track open to all attendees, the 2021 Canadian ISP Summit is slated to be the biggest and most important telecom event in Canada. Attendees will have more ways to connect with one another on highly relevant topics as well as do business in breakout rooms while networking and connecting virtually and from the safety of their own homes.

The call for sponsorships for this year’s event is now open, and opportunities for increased sponsorship will be available.

“As the ISP industry landscape continues to evolve and brave challenges, building on the success of past ISP Summits for our members is more important than it has ever been,” says Matt Stein, CNOC Chairman. “And now together with the CCSA, we’re positioned to create an event where our stakeholders will learn, challenge and share ideas that will lead the industry into the future.”
